Pregnant women and larger passengers
- If you're pregnant, you can fly with us right up to week 27 (inclusive) without having to bring a medical certificate.
- If you're between weeks 28 and 35 (inclusive), you must bring the original medical authorisation confirming that you are able to fly. This authorisation must also include its period of validity (start and end date) and the doctor's medical board number and signature.
- From week 36 of their pregnancy onwards, pregnant women may not fly for reasons relating to the health and safety of the mother and her unborn child.
Remember...
- You needn't tell us that you're pregnant during the booking.
- You can request a double space to fly by booking an extra seat while purchasing the flight through our website. If you wish to book more than one extra seat, you can do so by calling our Customer Services Centre.
We would like to remind you that...
- For safety reasons, if you need a seatbelt extension, you may not occupy the seats by the emergency exits.
