We know that now, more than ever, we need to care for the environment.
We work hard every day to continue to offer all our customers the best connectivity in Europe, to give them more options to travel and discover new places. However, the aviation sector is a substantial source of CO₂ -between 2 and 3% of global CO₂ emissions-, and also a potential source of non-CO₂ impacts. Therefore, while we continue to improve customer experience, we are also focused on taking steps to reduce our environmental footprint, recognizing that meaningful changes are needed to address the impact of global warming.

At Vueling we are fully aware of the importance of environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues and we continue to work in a comprehensive way in order to manage, measure and report on initiatives in these areas.
Sustainability certificates
Environmental certificate - IEnvA Stage 2
To help us achieve our sustainability goals, we have a environmental management system with IATA IEnvA certification and also aligned with the ISO 14001 environmental management system. This certificate endorses our commitment to sustainability and represents a new step forward on the path begun in 2020 when we became the world's first low-cost airline to achieve IEnvA Stage 1.
