Travelling to Turin
Standing in the foothills of the Alps, Turin is the cultural and business heart of the Piemonte region. The city is famous for its art museums, cuisine, theatres, gardens and libraries.
It is the ideal city to explore on foot, as the streets of Turin are arranged in a grid design. Plan your route and visit Vittorio Veneto Square, Valentino Castle, the Basilica of Superga or the Egyptian Museum, among others.
One of the city's most famous landmarks is Mole Antonelliana. At the very top of this fabulous building you can visit the National Cinema Museum, which also boasts some spectacular views over the red roofs of the city and the River Po.
