| What conditions does the company offer for passengers with special needs? |
From 26 July 2008, the provision of an assistance service for disabled and mobility-impaired passengers will no longer be the responsibility of airlines, but that of each airport. - If you are disabled or have impaired mobility and booked your flight by telephone, we’ll make sure your request reaches the service operators in the airport concerned.
- If you made your booking through our website, you must advise us at least 48 hours before the flight that you are flying with us, which is to be done by calling by the Vueling Reservation Center. We’ll ensure your request reaches the service operators in the relevant airport.
- In the case of Spanish airports, you may, if you prefer, arrange for assistance in the airport by contacting Aena directly via the website www.aena.es or by calling the Aena Telephone Information and Help Service on 902 404 704. Remember that you must advise us at least 48 hours before your flight that you're flying with us.
Once you arrive at the airport you must go to one of the meeting points for disabled and mobility-impaired passengers at the airport and request assistance there. The service operators will escort you to our check-in desks. Look at a map of the airport from which your outbound flight is departing to find the nearest meeting point. Remember that you must be at the Vueling check-in desk 2 hours before your flight takes off. |

You can change the date, time and even the route of your flight. The cost per change is just €35 per leg per passenger. To this cost you should add any difference in the total cost of the flight applicable at the moment the change is made (if the fare available is less on the new flight, no reimbursement will be made). These changes can be made in the section "Changes and queries", or by calling Vueling’s Customer Service Centre. Change of the ticketholder’s name can only be made through our Customer Service Centre and carries a cost of €50 per leg per person. |
| Back |
| |
| Can I make a connection between two Vueling flights? |

Change to the ticketholder’s name can only be made through our Customer Service Centre and carries a cost of €50 per leg per person. Should a higher fare total be applicable at the time of the changes than at the time of the original booking, then the difference will also be added to the aforementioned charges. In cases where a lower fare is applicable at the time of the amendments to the booking, then the difference shall not reimbursed. |

| Why get travel insurance? |
If you want to enjoy your journey in total peace of mind, we recommend you take out the travel insurance we offer on our website for €14 on national flights and €16 on international flights.
Joining this collective insurance contract is purely voluntary, which is why you can activate the “optional insurance” checkbox while purchasing your airfare if you’re interested in this option. Insurance includes the following covers: (i) flight cancellation costs for a maximum amount of 300 euros, (ii) medical costs for a maximum amount of €600 on domestic flights and €6,000 on international flights (exemption €50), (iii) indemnities up to 600 euros for theft, destruction or loss of luggage, or 250 euros for delay greater than 24 hours in luggage delivery, (iv) indemnities of up to 30,050 euros for accidents, and (v) indemnities for a maximum amount of 60,000 euros for damages caused to third parties. The covers described are subject in all cases to the policy conditions, from which an extract is published below for your information prior to taking out insurance. For more information consult the policy conditions.
Remember that Vueling does not allow cancellations, which is why cancellation costs are only applicable on causes due to force majeure. Insurable persons are those with European nationality or their habitual residence in a European country, who are travelling with Vueling in Europe and who sign up to the collective policy offered on our website.
The insuring company is Mondial Assistance. Vueling cannot be held as a party responsible for noncompliance of the duties corresponding to the insurance company deriving from this insurance contract. |

| Where do I pick up my tickets? |
Vueling only issues electronic tickets, saving on printing the traditional ticket, in order always to be able to offer you the best prices. For that reason you just have to present the personal documentation you need to travel plus your confirmation number at our airport terminal. (The “confirmation number” is the one you see at the end of your booking, and which we send you with your travel itinerary; it consists of a combination of six letters or numbers). |
| Back |
| |
| What happens if I lose my confirmation number? |
Vueling’s computer system lets you search bookings according to the credit card number with which you made your purchase, which allows us to guarantee the confidentiality of your booking. So if you call our Customer Service Centre and provide us with this information, we can locate your confirmation number:
Remember that when you arrive at the airport you must present your DNI [National Identity Document] or passport to confirm your identity.

| |

| If you need a bit more elbow room, you can buy our Duo seat, located in rows 1 to 3. You won’t have anyone sitting next to you! | What happens if I buy a Duo seat and somebody sits next to me? |

ABOUT VUELING
How is Vueling able to provide such great fares? |
Vueling, as you know, is a newly created company, which incorporates the latest technological and management innovations to offer you the best prices consistently. Three aspects are fundamental to our competitiveness: - Our sales are direct over the Internet or through our Customer Service Centre. Our aircraft are new, the Airbus A320, incorporating the most efficient designs and materials to reduce fuel consumption and other operating costs. - Our crews always sleep “on base” (which means, in their own home) which gives us high productivity and few travel costs. |
| Back |
| |
| How is the fare determined? |
The fare is basically determined by two variables: the amount of time the customer books in advance and the number of seats already booked on the flight.
This generally means that the earlier you buy, the cheaper your flight will be, and that the price of the flight rises as the plane fills up. |
| Back |
| |
| Who is behind Vueling? Are they trustworthy? |
Since Vueling was founded in 2004, the company has had a core of shareholders comprised of companies of the utmost prestige who backed Vueling’s business plan and work day-in day-out to ensure that the company becomes a clear referent among airlines operating in Europe’s south-east. Fulfilling a further stage in its evolution, Vueling was floated on the Spanish stock market on 1 December 2006, generating enormous interest among both national and international investors. Vueling has two important industrial partners, Iberia and Nefinsa (the company that owns Air Nostrum) and a significant local partner, Inversiones Hemisferio, which forms part of the Planeta Group, the largest Spanish-language publisher worldwide. |
