Flights to Warsaw

Flights to Warsaw

Many international treaties carry the name of this astounding city. That’s because Poland’s capital has historically been one of the main economic and cultural hubs of central Europe.

Although wars caused significant damage in the past, its careful reconstruction led to the city being declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1980. It currently combines modern, glassed-fronted skyscrapers with ancient houses and totally rehabilitated streets.

Because it’s a city that has overcome devastating wars, Vueling flies you there.

Don't miss... in Warsaw

Royal Castle

This castle survived the devastation of both World Wars. Luckily, it could be rebuilt from 1971 to 1977 and now everybody can enjoy its Baroque lines. The interior is also astounding. You’re bound to love it!

Nowy Swiat

This street connects the Royal Castle with Wilanow, the royal summer residence, in a very special way. All along Nowy Swiat you can admire numerous 19th Century buildings. Their ground floors house the most exclusive shops in the Polish capital and, naturally, bars, restaurants and chill-outs.

Teatr Wielki

Throw on your best rags to attend the home of the Polish National Opera and be carried away by La Traviata, Nabucco and many other world-renowned operas. The scenery is generally spectacular and the public, highly animated. During World War II it was practically demolished, but reconstructed in 1965, adding two auditoriums and a museum.

Saxon Gardens

Hundreds of trees make up this Warsaw park. It is, without a doubt, one of the city’s most beautiful parks thanks to its elegant, tree-lined avenues, Baroque sculptures and 19th Century fountain. The park ducks are also a great attraction for all visitors. Take a bit of bread with you. I’m sure they’ll thank you for it!

The Jewish Cemetery

Although the cemeteries of the Jewish population were practically destroyed by the Nazis, Warsaw’s cemetery was saved from total eradication. This visit will make your hair stand on end, but situate you in a savage episode of world history. If you want, you can also visit the Jewish Cemetery Foundation Museum.
