Palermo International Airport, also known as Falcon-Borsellino or Punta Raisi, is one of the largest in Sicily. It has a terminal that operates to international destinations. It is situated 32 km from Palermo, but perfectly connected to the urban area by buses, trains and taxis. Buses can also take you to other places on the island. The train has a Trinacria Express service, which goes straight into town once an hour. Taxis run from 6 am to 12 midnight. The journey lasts approximately 45 minutes.
