Terminals 1, 2 and 3 are connected by pedestrian corridors while they connect with Terminal 4 via the free train, the Heathrow Express.

  • The metro or London Underground is the cheapest way of reaching the centre.

Shop opening times in London tend to be from 10 am to 6 pm, Monday to Saturday. Late night shopping is Thursday until 8 pm. Sundays, you’ll also find shops open from midday till 6 pm.

Restaurants open from midday till 11 pm at night. Their rest day tends to be Sunday or Monday. Pubs open early and close early, from 11 am to 11 pm.

Buckingham Palace

This is the British monarch’s official residence. If you’re in luck when you visit, you may catch the changing of the palace guards. It occurs at 11.30 am and lasts about 30 minutes.
