Entry Requirements
  • JAA License (CPT:ATPL, FO: theoretical ATPL with a valid CPL)
  • Instrumental Rating
  • Multi Engine Rating
  • Medical Certificate JAR FCL 3 (class 1)
  • Fluency in English
  • Fluency in Spanish, whilst not a must, is a plus
  • Unrestricted right to live and work in the EU
Entry Levels Rating Total Flight Time
Captains A320 Type Rated >  5,000 (500 as PIC on A320)
Non A320 Type Rated (Medium Jet) >  5,000 (500 as PIC on commercial JET or 1500 PIC on large Turboprop)
First Officers A320 Type Rated > 1,500
Non A320 Type Rated

Successful non-rated applicants will have to acquire the A320 rating with a Vueling approved training organization. We still have some A320 courses available for experienced non-rated captains (linked only to a bond).

If you are an experienced pilot who does not meet the criteria for a Direct Entry Captain position, you may apply for a fast track command after 500 hours as Vueling FO.
