Elisenda Masana, passenger five million

Elisenda Masana will fly with 100 friends to her favourite Vueling destination!

This lucky woman is our five-millionth passenger, who travelled on our Seville-Barcelona flight on 27th September, 2006.

In the next few weeks she’ll be flying up and away with her friends to her favourite Vueling stop in the new Airbus A-320 which will bear her name.

Vueling, the new generation airline, celebrated having carried five million passengers. The party was in Seville and the star of the day, Elisenda Masana. She’s thirty-three years old, living and working in Sant Cugat, and is one of our company’s regular customers.

Passenger number five million found out the news when she landed at San Pablo airport this afternoon. Lázaro Ros, Vueling’s CEO, and Eugenio Ángel Díaz, our General Operations Manager, were pleased to be able to give her the good news. They handed her an unusual boarding card, valid to “fly wherever you want with a hundred guests of your choice”.

Elisenda Masana will christen our fifteenth plane with her name. The new addition will join our fleet in just a few weeks. This is the third Vueling aircraft to bear one of our customer’s names. We already have “Eloy Fructuoso” (customer one million) and “Connie Baraja” (two million).
